      You are spot on. I wish I could add something to help.
      As you know, Montigh Boley Edwards married a "Carter."
      And Mattie Carter Glenn (marriage 1) Clayton (marriage 2), daughter of James W. & Mattie Carter. Her oldest child, Jennie (Janie) Glenn, born Oct. 3, 1937, was living with grandparents, 1940 Census, Red Oak, Brunswick Co. Va.
      Janie was person connected with us through Bill Talley III.
