I lend my Loving wife WINIFRED CARTER during her natural life the tract where I now live , my Green Rock tract and the use of the following negros : Peter , Daniel , Sam , Bob , Juda , Lee , Rachel , Lucy , Molley , Fanny , Cintha , Jack , Jonathan , Rhoda and Abram. To also have the use of my personal estate except a bed and furniture I give my Daughter JOANNA CARTER and the bed and furniture I give to each of my sons : EDWARD CARTER , LAWSON HOBSON CARTER , CHRISTOPHER LAWSON CARTER and RAWLEY WILLIAMSON CARTER.
To my daughter JOANNA CARTER my negro Nancy.
To my daughter ELIZABETH CARTER a negro Abbey.
To my Daughter Sally Lovell a Negro Woman.
To my son JESSEE CARTER the tract of land where he now lives and my negro Ellinor.
To my son EDWARD CARTER my negro Stepney.
To my som THOMAS CARTER half the tract where he and his brother JEDUTHAN CARTER at present carries on the sadlers business also my tract on the south side of Hickeys Road and negro Robin.
To my son JEDUTHAN CARTER half the tract with Thomas and half the tract on the south side of Hickeys Road and negro Katy.
To my son LAWSON HOBSON CARTER my tract called Rigneys and negro Anna.
To my son CHRISTOPHER LAWSON CARTER part of the tract where I now live , lines of JOHN GILES , deceased , but not to possess the land while his mother lives and a negro Micka.
To my son RAWLEY WILLIAMSON CARTER the residue of my tract where I live at the death of his mother , also negro Abbey , Daughter of Lucy.
To my daughter JOANNA CARTER and my daughter ELIZABETH CARTER , all my Green Rock Tract after the death of my wife.
The personal property I have lent my wife during her life , at her death be equally divided between my children : JAMES CARTER , ELIZABETH CARTER , SALLY LOVELL , JESSEE CARTER , EDWARD CARTER , THOMAS CARTER , JEDUTHAN CARTER , LAWSON HOBSON CARTER , CHRISTOPHER LAWSON CARTER and RAWLEY WILLIAMSON CARTER.
