My Blackburn family, and they [Nortons and Browns] were in the Nottingham Monthly Meetings in Cecil County Maryland and they both married into the William Brown family of Nottingham in 1733 and 1739. The book says they came from "ye City and Parish of Armagh" and were the children of Edward Norton.
