    parents Lydia R. Preston (Joseph and Rebekah Reynolds Preston) and Vincent Reynolds.

    Died:
    Gilpin Reynolds, of Fulton Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, arose early Sunday morning and committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun. His body was found in the woods near his home. The supposition is that Mr. Reynolds had entered the woods, he cut a forked stick, rested the butt of the gun on the ground and holding the muzzle of the barrels close to his head pressed the triggers with the stick. The loads tore off the back of his head. Mr. Reynolds had been manager of the Fulton Township for several years. The deceased was a son of Vincent Reynolds and Lydia Preston Reynolds of Fremont, and a brother of William Preston Reynolds of this place. He was 49 years of age, and leaves a wife and one daughter.

    Vincent Reynolds died at his home, Fremont West Nottingham township, Chester county, on the 8th month, 24, 1908. He had not been sick long and was confined to bed about six weeks. His parents were Israel and Hannah Stubbs Reynolds, and he was born near Brick Meeting House in Cecil county, Maryland. He was a farmer for over 60 years. Mr. Reynolds married Lydia Preston, daughter of Joseph and Rebekah Reynolds Preston, deceased near Richardsmere, Maryland. He is survived by one son and two daughters: William Preston Reynolds, near Rising Sun, Md; Ilena and Lucretia Reynolds, at home; his surviving sisters are: Mrs. Rachael Reynolds Gatchell, Fulton township, Lancaster county; Mrs. Rebecca D. King, Wilmington; Mrs. Priscilla Pickering, Oxford. The burial will be in Eastland Friends, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania (Cecil Whig)

Deceased was a sister to of the late Vincent Stubbs, of Fulton township, and had a large family connection in that section of the county. She was a member of the Society of Friends.
