    Frank Benjamin Reynolds, Sr. Age 85 of North East, MD passed away on Thursday, March 06, 2003 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Mr. Reynolds was born October 28, 1917 in North East, MD to the late James Duffy Reynolds and Elizabeth Catherine Ferguson Reynolds. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, MD. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, served in the Maryland National Guard and he served in the Delaware National Guard retiring in 1966. Mr. Reynolds retired with 34 years of service as a butcher with the A&P stores. He was a member of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene. In addition, he was a member of the 29th Division Association, Susquehanna American Legion Post 135, Non-Commissioned Officers Association, North East Methodist Choir, Cecil County Choir and he was on the senior bowling league in Elkton and Newark. He was a former member of the Barber Shop Chorus, Susquehanna Baseball League, and the North East Town Band. Mr. Reynolds was the husband of 54 years to the late, Loyce Rose Edwards Reynolds who died on March 11, 1995. He is survived by 4 daughters, Charlotte Schulz of Collegeville, PA, Sonja Britt and Linda Roark, both of North East, MD and Jeanette Thomas of Harpers Ferry, WV; 3 sons, James Reynolds, Sr. of Perryville, MD, Mark Reynolds of Magnolia, DE and Frank B. Reynolds, Sr. of Perryville, MD; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; siblings, (twin sister) Rachel Alexander, Elmer Reynolds and Delores Letts all of North East, MD. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Reynolds was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lou Scott; 3 brothers, Arthur, Henry and Charles Reynolds; 1 sister, Idella Preston and 1 daughter-in-law, Mary Helen Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2003 at the Elkton Church of the Nazarene, 377 Nottingham Road, Elkton, MD. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Saturday, March 8, 2003 at CROUCH FUNERAL HOME, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD. Rev. James R. Moyers of the Elkton Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Interment will follow services in Boulden's Chapel Cemetery, Elkton, MD with full military honors. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the Elkton Church of the Nazarene, c/o Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901.
