Elsie Bird Reynolds, of Norwood and formerly of Chester, a loving mother and grandmother, died Feb. 20 at home.

Born in Cecil County, Md., Mrs. Reynolds devoted her life to her family. She had lived in Norwood for five years.

Mrs. Reynolds was a member of the former St. Michael's Church, Chester.

She was the widow of William W. Reynolds. She was the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Malinda Barrow Bird and the mother of the late W. Lee Reynolds.

Survivors: Daughters, Betty Forster of Newark, Del., Barbara A. Britton of Norwood (with whom she lived) eight grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren.

Service: 11 a.m. Monday, William S. Bleyler Funeral Home, 500 W. 22nd St., Upland.

Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Burial: Private.

Contributions: Crozer-Chester Hospice, 1 Medical Center Blvd., Upland, PA 19013 (in memory of her son, Lee) or Delaware County Memorial Hospice, 5030 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
