The Gauldin lady you are speaking of is Carrie A. Gauldin. b: Apr 1876 Pittsylvania Co. D:bef 1907 in Pittsyvania County. Little question about her parents.
She was the first wife of Edward (Ned) Hubbard Eanes my grandfather.
She died before 1907 because that is when Ned Hubbard Eanes married my Grandmother Julia Manning..
I don't know who the Oakes-Eanes people are for sure.
