  1. 1.  John Bernard Kaymen was born 26 Aug 1913, West Allis, WI; died 25 Nov 2000, Branford, Connecticut; was buried , Borodino Cemetery Borodino, New York.

    Notes:

    John Bernard Kaymen of Bayview Ave. Branford, died November 25, 2000, at the age of 87.

    He was the beloved husband of Eunice Pennock Kaymen and the father of Amelia Kaymen-?Yopes of San Francisco, CA and Stanley P, Kaymen of Sheboygan, WI. He was born in West Allis, WI on August 26, 1913 to John and Pauline Kaymen. He served in tbe army in WWII. He was a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the GI Bill in 1948, where he was an avid member of the Sailing Club. He worked most of his professional life for U.S. Steel as a wire rope engineer. His hobbies included: gardening and listening to and performing music, and he sang baritone for the Pittsburgh Symphony Chorus. He and Eunice enjoyed traveling throughout the world either on organized trips or to visit their children living abroad. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by 7 grandchildren and step-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, ?Harriet Kaba. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Congregational Church of Branford November 28th at 4 pm. Memorial contributions to Conn Hospice Inc, 61 Burban Dr. Branford, 06405 or to a charity of one's choice. NEW HAVEN FUNERAL SERVICE in charge of arrangements.
