    Is Laid to Rest
    In Caswell County

    Funeral services were held yesterday from Purley, N. C.
    Methodist church for James H. Slade, well known farmer of
    Caswell county, who passed away at the age of 64 on
    Saturday evening following a short illness. The exercises
    were largely attended, interment taking place in the church
    graveyard. Mr. Slade, who was prominent in his community,
    is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Powell Slade, and two
    sons, Jack Slade and James Slade.
