Mary married James Beasley 14 Jan 1779, Orange Co., Virginia. James (son of James Beasley and Ann 'Annie' Reynolds) was born 10 Aug1760, Orange Co., Virginia; died 18 May 1821, Orange Co., Virginia [later Culpeper]. [Group Sheet]

James Beazley and Mary Sanford had the following children:
i. John3 Beazley was born August 6, 1780.
ii. Sanford Beazley was born March 24, 1783.
iii. Nancy Beazley was born in Orange Co., Virginia May 11, 1786. It is possible that Nancy Beazley married Tandy Collins. According to Orange County, Virginia marriage records, he married a daughter of James Beazley named Ann. The only known Ann was the daughter of James and Ann Beazley, and her age was not correct. The 1820 census indicates that the wife of Tandy was born in 1775-1785. Nancy is the only daughter that was born in this time period.
iv. Elizabeth Beazley was born February 4, 1789.
v. Robert Beazley was born May 9, 1791.
vi. James Beazley was born February 18, 1794.
vii. Mary Beazley was born April 10, 1797.
viii. Lucy Beazley was born in Orange Co., Virginia September 27, 1799. She died March 17, 1801.
ix. Durrett Beazley was born in Orange Co., Virginia February 9, 1802. He died after July 24, 1850. Conflicting evidence states that Durrett was born February 11, 1802.
