      John Foxwell Sparklin, 71 , an employee
      of the Newark Post for the post
      34 years, died suddenly at h is home in
      Elkton on Saturday, March 4. Funeral
      services were conducted from his late
      residence at 245 E. High Street, Wed-
      . nesday afternoon, with the Rev. J . J .
      Bunting, pastor of the Elkton Methodist
      Church, officiating. Interment was
      in the Elkton Cemetery.
      , ~urvivin g the deceased is one daughler,
      Mrs. Elizabeth Perkins, and one
      granddaughter, Miss Lorene S. Perkins;
      lour brothers, William Usilton, Bayard
      Usilton and Norman Usilton, all of
      Washi ngton, D. C., and John Usilton,
      of Glendale, California; two sisters:
      Mrs. Mary Duncan and Mrs. Lulu McAvoy,
      both of Washington, D.C.
      The deceased was preceded in death
      by his wife, Elizabeth, who died four
      years ago and a daughter, Evelyn, who
      died two years ago. Mr. Sparklin was
      a former member of the Elkton Town
      Council, a trustee and member of the
      official Board of the Elkton Methodist
      Church and W f\S 8 life member of the
      Patrons aod .Founders Association of
      Wesley Junior College, Dover.
