      THE CARROLL CHRONICLE
      24 May 1912

      SUSAN C. PAGE of Sherrodsville died of Dropsy Tuesday morning after a lingering illness. The body was taken to Leesville yesterday for interment. She was the wife of the venerable Jesse Page who is know 94 years old. She was born in Leitersburg, Md. in July 1848, and her parents came to Ohio in 1851. She was married in 1867 and twelve children were born to them, H. M. of Carrollton, Mrs. Henry Dayhuff, Loren B. of Bergholz, James H., Harry D., Frank, Fred, and Mrs. Ollie Capper of Canton. Mrs. W. N. Wilson of Keefer, Okla., David of Roswell, and Mrs. E. M. skeels of Sherrodsville. One died in infancy. She has four brothers and one sister.
      This venerable mother was known by numerous friends and greatly loved and respected. She has been a member of the M. E. church for 40 years.
