Fannie Love Marlowe DANVILLE - Fannie Love Marlowe, 94, of 2526 North Main Street, Danville and formerly of Callands, died Saturday, September 22, 2007 Roman Eagle Memorial Home. She was born on Feb. 20, 1913, in Pittsylvania County, the daughter of the late Payton Christopher Marlowe and Mary Ann Holley Marlowe. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Mrs. Marlowe is survived by one son, George Marlowe of Martinsville and his wife, Patricia, and two grandchildren, Todd Marlowe and his wife, Teresa, and Pamela Marlowe; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Kelly Marlowe; and one sister, Mae Ellen Wells, of Martinsville. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Marlowe Family Cemetery with the Rev. Daryl Joyce officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24 at Scott Funeral Home. Published in the Danville Register & Bee on 9/24/2007.
