Anne's Obituary
Margaret Anne Powell, 83, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.
Born December 29, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Denny Powell and James Edwards Powell. She is survived by her sister, Laura Powell, and her beloved cat, Fluffy.
Anne graduated from George Washington High School, Averett College, and Rollins College. She spent most of her professional career in human resources in advertising agencies in New York, New York. Once she returned to Danville, she regained her Southern accent.
A private burial will be held. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
