This tract of land was described as being on both sides of Smith Riv, Town Creek and Mill Creek. Edw Philpott and James A. Mitchell were executors of the estate. 14 Mar 1825, Henry Co: the purchasers sold 360a of this land back to Edw Philpott for $1260. [Randolph's note: James and David Dalton Dyer sold the balance of the land in 1839 to a Wm Ross and both moved to Warren and Lincoln Cos Mo.
