HAMPTON - Mr. Charles Clarance Butler Jr., 80, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003.
A native of Warwick County, Va., he had been a Peninsula resident since 1922. He was employed by C&O Railroad for 16 years and retired from Newport News Shipyard after 23 years of service. He was a member of Northside Church of Christ and the Philothean Class. He was also a member of Monitor Lodge #197 A.F.&A.M., Hampton and the Scottish Rite, Newport News.
