      Archibald McRobert is named in the Chancery Suite of Prince Edward between Samuel Carter and Mildred Wade Lewis, who is the widow of Waddill Carter, Samuel's brother. Samuel as half owner of the Still, leased it to Archibald McRobert who is his father-in-law, for the purpose of making 'brandy'.

      Birth: 1736
      Death: 1807
      A charter member of Hampden-Sidney College and an organizer of the Presbyterian church in Prince Edward County in the late 1700s. He married Elizabeth Munford, daughter of Robert Munford and Ann Bland. In 1800, he and Theodorick McRobert served on a Republican Committee from Prince Edward county to advise President Jefferson on the reelection of Republicans.
