      There is some question as to the lineage for John Hawkins Kendrick. Try John Kendrick and Elizabeth Summers. These seem to be the "believed" parents for him. I have studied him for many years, obviously. I still have not been able to positively establish where they lived in Pittsylvania County to be able to find their gravesites.
