      George Anderson settled in Albermarle before the formation fo Fluvanna, and his residence was a mile or so southwest of Bethel Church, where Mr. Joseph Underhill lives now. Evidence indicates he was from Louisa Co., He married before 1750 Frances Woodson, d/o Benjamin Woodson (will 1777) The records of the settlement of Geor. Anderson's estate begin in 1806.

      82 Benjamin 4 Woodson (John 8, John 2, John 1) married Miss Napier, and had issue, 104 Bene, 105 John, 106 Patrick, 107 Benjamin, 108 Booth, 109 daughter Fitzpatrick. Benjamin Woodson's wife was descended from Dr. Patrick Napier, a chirurgeon of York county, who married Elizabeth Booth,
      daughter of Robert Booth, clerk of York county, and Frances his wife. Dr. Napier died about 1672, leaving issue Robert Napier and Frances Napier, who resided in New Kent county. Robert married Mary, and had issue Booth, born February 1, 1692; Frances, born February 5, 1695, Robert, born September 6, 1697; Katherine, born October 12, 1700; Elizabeth, born December 25, 1704. One of these was the father of Bene" Napier, whose will was proved November 19, 1751, which names his
      sons John, Bene" and Champion, daughters Chloe and Mary, wife Wene Napier, brother Pat Napier, Mr. Ben Woodson and cousin Booth Woodson. His brother Patrick's will is recorded in Albemarle, as is also that of his brother Robert.
