  [S3] Mary Frances Reynolds Eggleston. My Great Grandother's Brother - I am Mary Frances Eggleston This James M. Edwards is the Brother of Addison Lafayette Edwards and William T. Edwards; both Addison and William married Sarah Frances Powell, d/o William Jefferson Powell: James M. Edwards, Jr. was a Private in Co. K, 14th VA Infantry, CSA. He enlisted at South Boston, VA on 14 May 1861 at age 29. He was a farmer and died of disease that was contracted while serving with the 14th at Jamestown, VA He returned to Halifax Co., VA and died on 18 July 1861.
