      In the name of Good, Amen. I, Edward Wade of the County of
      Greene and State of Georgia, being in perfect health and of
      perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling
      unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is
      appointed for all men once to die, doe make this my last
      will and testament, that is to say, first of all, I give
      and recommend my soul into the hand of Almighty God that
      gave it, and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried
      in a decent Christian burial at the discretion of my
      executors, nothing doubting but at the general
      resurrection, I shall receive the same by the mighty power
      of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it
      hath pleased God to bless me within this life, I give,
      demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and
      form ---
      Item: I lend to my beloved wife Mary Wade during her life
      or widowhood, all my estate of lands, Negroes, stock of all
      kinds and all my household furniture and movables, and at
      her death or marriage my will is that all my aforementioned
      estate be sold to the highest bidder amongst the legatees
      only, and all the money arising therefrom to be equally
      divided amongst all my children, that is David Wade, Lucey
      Nolin, Grissell Bennett, Peyton Wade, Edward Wade, Mary
      Burford, Thomas Wade, Chloe Easley and Anna williams, and
      if any of the said children should die without heir
      lawfully begotten of their body, then their part to equally
      divided among the rest of the living children or their
      heirs.
      At the general division of the estate it is my will that
      all the rest of my children be made up equal to my eldest
      son David Wade who hath received thirty pounds, my daughter
      Grissell Bennett fifteen pounds, my son Peyton Wade twenty
      pounds, my son Edward Wade fifteen pounds, my daughter Mary
      Burford ten pounds, my son Thomas Wade fifteen pounds, my
      daughter Chloe Easley fifteen pounds, and my daughter Anna
      Williams six pounds which is to be counted as so much
      received of their part at a general division.
      And further my will is that all my aforementioned children
      or their heirs shall have timely notice to attend when my
      afore mentioned estate shall be sold.
      I give to my deceased daughter Christian Dalton's heirs one
      shilling sterling money to be paid to them by my executors
      hereafter named.
      And lastly, I do constitute and ordain my two sons, Peyton
      Wade and Thomas Wade sole executors of this my last will
      and testament. I do utterly hereby, disallow, revoke and
      disannul all and every other former testaments, wills,
      legacies, bequests and executors by me in any wise named
      before; willed and wills and bequeated, ratifying and
      confirming this and no other to be my last will and
      testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
      and seal this eighteenth day of February, Anno Domonio, One
      thousand seven hundred and ninety.

      A, Pages 123-128 listing the transactions of the sale.
      15th November 1791, The legatees, all present, of Edward
      Wade, deceased, agree and themselves nominated and charged
      in the presence of Thomas Baldwin Esquire, David Wade and
      Peyton Wade to act as administrators of the estate of the
      said Edward Wade, deceased, and according by letters of
      administration are granted to David Wade and Peyton Wade on
      the Estate of Edward Wade deceased of Greene County.

      A record of the direction given to Bryan Ward Nowlin by his
      children informing him to receive their monies of their
      Grandfather Edward Wade's Estate deceased, in Georgia.

      To the executors or administrators of the estate of Edward
      Wade, deceased, in the State of Georgia. As it was the good
      pleasure of our grandfather to will to our deceased
      mother's heirs an equal part of his estate, it is each of
      our devices that it be given up into the hands of our
      father, that he may have the improving of it for the
      benefit of our younger brothers and sisters as well for
      them as us. And to be at his satisfaction to give it to us
      and them as he thinks proper. Given under our hands this
