      > Heard from Stephanie?will try to find info for her. I do not have much on James T Sr. He has been the stumbling block for all who have tried to piece the family together. My Dad?s brother?s granddaughter let me know that she has found the family link back to Gyles Carter, born in the 1600?s and prominent in the early Virginia settlement, but I do not have the details. Looks like a good time to see what she has.

      > Another source, who also had problems with JT Sr info, was Edward Tulloh who did research on this family?.stemming from Walter?s Brother Napolean Carter?whom I referred to as Uncle Pole. He also lived in Sutherlin when I knew him. I have some of Edward?s data but it has not been scanned. Another project!!!!

      > Have included my charts on Walter?s family?.some blank spots?.haven?t worked on this for a couple of years, so there is missing recent info. As a matter of fact I have updated my computer since that period and have been unsuccessful in opening the master application.
