      1. John Philpott Garrett, Jr. born April 11, 1811, died March 15, 1852. His occupation was given as boat builder. He married Martha E. Philpot, age 36 in 1850, buried Petersville Episcopal Cemetery, plot 158. Martha E. was daughter of Brian and Harriett Philpot of Frederick County. John and Martha's children in 1850 were:
      1. Mary Elizabeth Garrett, born 01 Aug 1843-11 Oct 1920, buried St Marks in Petersville.
      2. Charles J. Garrett, born February 1, 1848, died December 27, 1924, buried plot 158 Petersville Episc. Cemetery.
