p.518 14 Oct 1785 Robert Walters to William Rice. 80£. 300 acres part of tract in Pittsy Co on waters of Falls creek containing 504 acres granted to said Walters by patent dated 13 Jun 1785. Begin Orlandes Smith corner, crossing two branches, crossing another branch, white oak in Robert Walters's line, along the same, red Oak in Walters line, along the same, Along William Russells line, along Smith's line to the beginning. 204 acres part of patent of 504 acres sd Walters had sold to William Reynolds. The remaining 300 acres I the sd Walters do sell to the sd Rice. Signed: Robert (R) Walters

- William of Culpepper lived in Culpepper County, Virginia before he settled in Pittsylvania. Evidence of this fact is found in his son's Pension Application (see documents). His Will is found in Pittsylvania Co., Virginia recorded in 1791. All of his children but Jesse left Pittsylvania County after his death. Further research is underway.

- Several deeds located for Culpeper Co., Virginia for this time period name other Reynolds (Runnolds) etc. DB E 1765-69 Page 564-66 shows a John Reynolds on a tract commonly called Mountponey. I googled Mount Poney and found it located in Culpeper Co and and taken off from a church called Mountain Run, in Orange County, Mountpony Church in was constituted in 1768... . It appears that John Reynolds was now living on tht land in 1768...

Margaret Cates is correct. Nancy Jane is Nancy Grisham Reynolds; John Booker was married to Nancy BLAIR, not Nancy Jane Reynolds. Lucy who married Thomas Pistole, Jr. is not the d/o this Richard. She is the d/o William Reynolds and Martha Cole.
