Samuel Allen Jefferson b 24 Mar 1776 d 23 Mar 1855. He married his first cousin, Elizabeth Broome Jefferson, of Cumberland Co., 20 June 1803.(Winston Dalton's register says that Capt. Samuel's wife died 8 May 1843. The couple had ten children.

Thomas Jefferson, fourth son of Peter Field and Elizabeth Allen Jefferson married Elizabeth Ball, d/o John and Mary Patton Ball.
Frances Jefferson b 11 Jan 1772, married George Murphy 27 Mar 1794. Frances was deceased by the chancery suit of 1828, with two daughters, Elizabeth and Nancy, surviving. They apparently did not stay in Pittsylvania County.
